Stay thirsty my friends...

Hey everyone,

Glad to see people are still coming here and enjoying the music.  As you can see, I've been m.i.a for awhile now.  Just life in general and trying to build up my photography business, as well as raising a ridiculously energetic 4 year old boy.  Time is def. at a premium these days, but I've got a lot more Selected Sound LPs to rip and share and I'm gonna try to make that happen for you.

Hope all is well with everyone and that 2013 found you in good health, good spirits and good fortune.

If any links are down let me know and I'll re-up them.

Stay tuned..

SonDu

Great to hear you are happy to repost, I appreciate the time and effort it takes to maintain a blog, so it is really good to know you are going to maintain this unique sonic planet in the library universe.

I guess like many others, it is the Klaus Weiss holy grails that brought me here, but I am really fascinated to hear the other Selected Sounds releases you have posted.

Many thanks again, you are a star!

Hello man, what happened to your promise? No post yet!!!

@mah1979di

First off, I never promised to do a damn thing..I said I had more stuff to share and that I'd try to make it happen. How about showing some appreciation for the tons of stuff already on here and at least pretend to be grateful for the gems I've already spent time ripping and uploading for your (free) downloading and listening enjoyment? I don't see you sharing anything via blogger so if its too much of a burden on you to be patient, take your 3 little exclamation points and be out...I'm not on your schedule dude.

@ Everybody else

You're very welcome and I'm glad you're all enjoying the sounds. I just got a few more LPs from Germany, just bear with me while I find time to get them ripped and uploaded.

Don't listen to ungrateful trolls here. I appreciate your efforts in the highest degree. Thank you so much for all you gave us so far.

Now if you should happen to have Nos. 9004, 9025, 9029, 9033, 9034, 9035, 9036, 9037 that would be (as I probably wrote before) more than great.

Take your time and good luck raising your son!!! ;-)

SonDu- Don't mind Mah1979di, he doesn't show appreciation to anyone- I've seen him get whiny on other library blogs.

No worries,
Hi guys,

I have a track which is unidentified and it is from library music production.
Please see if you know it.

Son Du, I've got ahold of an LP you were looking for @ an earlier date. Not sure if you've got this by now but I'd be glad to share with you.

Is there a way we can communicate out of the public eye?

Raising kids is never easy. Thanks for all you've given in this life, and for all you'll continue to accomplish the rest of your life!

Take care!

Thanks for the encouragement, appreciation and kind words everyone! Still juggling time but I WILL be posting up some new stuff.

Muff Diver, thanks for the offer. I'm on Google Plus as The Real SonDu. You can reach out to me there.

Yo yo,

This site is freaking fantastic. I am a producer and a collector as well. I don't come across too many Library Compilations (especially down here in Miami) and so this site makes me feel like a kid in a candy store. Samples Galore!!!

Listen SonDu,
thank you kindly for taking the time and effort to not only post these records, but for also SITTING THERE AND RIPPING EACH AND EVERY ONE (I am assuming that's what you had to do).

Your collection must be pretty solid to have such an array of library records (unless you happened to meet a dealer that had all of them and sold them to you at once hahaha, which is always awesome).

Wish you the best with the child rearing and such. Looking forward to see if you get some spare time to begin posting again, no rush though.

Lastly, I have library records myself, as well as some dope comps of music from around the world. I also have a nice collection of 70s/80s Bollywood music (that I got from my Indian parents).....and would be willing to share them with you if you're interested in posting anything like that.

Cheers,

Nikky Noir
